Future Ritual cultivates performance art and artists, in the UK and internationally, amplifying the enlivening and transformative potential of this artform.

Against the alienation and fragmentation of contemporary life, Future Ritual creates and holds spaces for curious publics to gather, to think and to feel through place, desire, belief, loss and mystery.

We are based in Peckham (London) and work from STUDIO: Future Ritual.

Louisa Robbin

Passionate about the alternative, the untraditional and the awkward; Louisa is intent on making art that explores the beauty in ritual, intimacy and the self (self-care, self-harm, self-esteem). Her recent body of work ‘to care’ explores her depression and the desperate need to keep going, keep doing and be more. As half of Transits – a pair of songwriters, musicians and vocalists, Louisa allows her writing to inform their unique style.  Drawing influence from artists such as Daughter and Bonobo, their haunting sound has been said to transport an audience.

Recent involvements with arts organisations include Fierce Festival, mac Birmingham, MAIA Creatives, Unfinished Business Theatre, The Rep, Talawa Theatre Company, Birmingham Pride, SHOUT Festival and Contemporary Other.
